KEARNEY — The City of Kearney Utilities Department announces 5th Avenue, from 32nd Street to 33rd Street will be closed beginning Tuesday, October 29 at 9:30 am for a water leak repair.
The north bound lane is planned to be reopened upon completion of the work. The southbound lane and the adjacent parking will remain closed and is planned to be reopened by 5 p.m. on Monday, November 4, 2024 weather and construction permitting.
Motorists are asked to use caution in the area and to watch for construction workers and equipment. If an alternate route is possible, we recommend that motorists use the alternate route.
