KEARNEY — Park Elementary School is excited to announce a special visit from acclaimed Nebraska rancher and children’s book author, Yvette Mannon. Ms. Mannon will be at our school on Friday, Sept. 15, 2023, at 1 p.m. to engage with our students, read her captivating children’s book, “Cookie, Where Are You?,” and share the remarkable real-life adventure of her trusty blue heeler dog, Cookie.

Yvette Mannon’s heartwarming story comes to life through the pages of “Cookie, Where Are You?,” a delightful children’s book that captures the essence of love, friendship, and adventure. Children and families alike will be enthralled by this tale of courage and companionship. The highlight of the event will undoubtedly be the presence of Cookie, the four-legged hero of Ms. Mannon’s book. Cookie’s incredible journey, as depicted in the book, will resonate with young readers and inspire a sense of wonder and curiosity.
