The accident scene near the intersection of 39th St. and E Avenue, (Brian Neben, Central Nebraska Today)
KEARNEY — A two vehicle accident took place on 39th St. in Kearney during the early afternoon hours of Monday, Jan. 27.
At 1:23 a.m., the Kearney Volunteer Fire Department and the Kearney Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of 39th St. and E Ave. for the report of a two-vehicle accident.
It was initially reported that one of the drivers was unresponsive.
On scene, a minivan was facing west with rear-end with a black four door car behind it with front end damage.
Officers with the Kearney Police Department were processing the scene while KVFD were only on scene for a short time. The officers were assisted on scene by CHI Health Good Samaritan EMS.
Any word on injuries or the cause of the accident was not immediately available on scene.
