Hastings Public School District Office (Brian Neben, Central Nebraska Today)
HASTINGS — At an open board meeting on Jan. 30, the Hastings Public Schools Board of Education selected the following educational leaders as their finalists for their superintendent vacancy:
- Mr. Josh Cumpston – Superintendent at Fillmore Central Public Schools
- Mr. John Hauser – Director of Learning and Support at Hastings Public Schools
- Dr. Chris Prososki – Superintendent at Southern Public Schools
- Mr. Joel Ruybalid – Superintendent at Blue Hill Public Schools
Finalist interviews will take place on February 3rd and 4th. An announcement of a new hire should be made by February 10th. The new hire will begin on/about July 1.
Over the summer, McPherson & Jacobson will work with the new hire and Hastings Board of Education to establish measurable performance goals for 2025-26 and beyond
