GRAND ISLAND — A 12-year-old girl was cited for terroristic threats after she reportedly threatened her sibling while holding a knife.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, on Monday, Feb. 3, at 5:30 p.m., officers responded to a home on 15th St. for the report of a disturbance.
On scene, officers were made aware of a separate incident which had occurred on Sunday, Feb. 2.
A 23-year-old male reported that his juvenile sister had armed herself with a knife in the home and approached him and made a direct verbal threat to injury him while walking toward him.
A similar incident occurred on Monday when the 12-year-old used a knife to threaten another sibling.
The 12-year-old was cited terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
