Kearney Police Department, (Brian Neben, Central Nebraska Today)

KEARNEY — The Kearney Police Department Uniform Patrol Bureau B Team made three DUI arrests on Friday, Feb. 7.

  •  39th and Antelope, 7 a.m.: three adult males fled the scene of an injury crash. Located hiding on private property near the area. The driver was arrested on multiple felonies for Hit and Run, DUI, Poss. Controlled Substance, Obstructing, Active Warrants. Additional citations issued to passengers for MIP and Obstructing. Great teamwork with our friends Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office.
  •  2200 1st Ave, 12:35 p.m., Traffic stop for violation of a traffic signal. Adult female arrested and booked for DUI, nearly 3x legal limit.
  • E 25th St, 1 p.m., citizen reports possible intoxicated driver, located vehicle and driver. Driver refused to cooperate, displayed signs of intoxication and impairment. Booked for DUI 4th offense, ignition interlock violation, refusal to submit chemical tests.
