EDISON — Weather permitting, a railroad crossing project will begin Monday, May 19, on U.S. Highway 136 (US-136) in Edison at reference post 1+95, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
The crossing repair work is being done by the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway. Follow the marked
detour. Work is anticipated to take four (4) days.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
