LEXINGTON — Dawson Public Power District is proud to announce that Marsha Banzhaf has successfully completed the Robert I. Kabat Management Internship Program (MIP), an intensive training initiative for electric utility leaders.

The MIP, offered in partnership with the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, provides in-depth education on the evolving electric utility industry. Marsha participated in a series of workshops designed to enhance leadership skills and foster a deeper understanding of consumer needs.

“We’re incredibly proud of Marsha for her dedication and commitment to professional development,” said DPPD General Manager Alyssa Clemsen Roberts. “Her participation in this program reflects our ongoing commitment to strengthening our leadership team and ensuring we continue to provide the best possible service to our customer-owners.”

The program is designed for top-level management in rural electric cooperatives and public power districts, offering insights into strategic planning and operational excellence within the unique cooperative business model.
