SHELTON — An accident between a commercial truck and motorcycle took place on Highway 30 east of Shelton during the morning hours of Thursday, July 10.

Around 9 a.m., Shelton Volunteer Fire and Rescue was dispatched near the intersection of 190th Road and Highway 30 for the report of a two-vehicle accident involving a commercial truck and a motorcycle.

Eastbound traffic was initially blocked on Highway 30.

The accident occurred a mile within Hall County, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene, as well as the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office.

A Shelton ambulance left the scene, enroute for Kearney and CHI Health Good Samaritan Hospital. At 9:20 a.m., a Good Samaritan unit was dispatched for mutual aid but would be called off.

On scene, a yellow commercial truck was lying on its driver’s side in the south ditch of Highway 30 with front end damage.

There was no information regarding the cause of the accident or injuries on scene. The accident remains under investigation.
