GRAND ISLAND — A juvenile male was taken into custody for first degree arson during the evening of Thursday, July 17.
According to Grand Island Police Department at 9:18 p.m., officers responded to the Holiday Garden Apartments on N. Wheeler Ave. in reference to a structure fire.
Officers investigated the scene and discovered that a 14-year-old juvenile male had intentionally started the fire.
The juvenile was taken into custody for first degree arson.
