KEARNEY — On behalf of DTC Construction, the City of Kearney announces that Water and Sanitary work will take place in the outside northbound lane of the 5400 block of N Avenue beginning Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 7:30 a.m.
The outside lane of northbound traffic will be closed for two weeks, barring unexpected delays. Following this phase of construction the closure will be switched to the outside lane of Southbound traffic, and will then be closed for one week.
Due to the often-heavy volume of traffic in the area, motorists are urged to use extreme caution when traveling around the work zone, stay off cell phones, and be aware of equipment and crew members.
