GRAND ISLAND — The 4th annual Nebraska Small Business Conference is coming to Grand Island, Lincoln, and Omaha in August.

Focused on entrepreneurship education, the conference will be held in English and Spanish, and caters to new entrepreneurs through seasoned business owners. Centered on this year’s theme, “Adaptation. Innovation. Evolution.”, keynote speakers, industry experts, and successful entrepreneurs will share personal experiences, innovative strategies, and creative tools to help strengthen Nebraska businesses.

Attendees will also be able to network with other entrepreneurs.

One goal of the conference is to address the unique challenges and opportunities Nebraska’s entrepreneurs face, all while sharing insight and applications for continued success. Social media trends, marketing and loan applications are among the session topics to be shared. Between sessions, attendees will be able to visit an exhibitor hall and explore products and services from local businesses and organizations that cater to entrepreneurs.

The conference is organized through Rural Prosperity Nebraska’s Small Business Program y Score , which provides business development guidance to immigrant entrepreneurs interested in creating their own businesses in Nebraska. Through educational courses and trainings, the program equips entrepreneurs and business owners with knowledge to successfully take each step of the business-creation process.

This year, the conference will take place in three locations, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. CT.
