GRAND ISLAND — A man who waved down officers in front of the Hall County Law Enforcement Center would end up being booked across the street in the Department of Corrections for an active warrant.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, at 3:28 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23, a man waved down officers in front of the Hall County Law Enforcement Center at 111 Public Safety Dr.
The man would be identified as Abshir Mohamed via a local records check. It was also determined that Mohamed had an active Hall County warrant for robbery.
Mohamed would be booked into the Hall County Department of Corrections at 4:30 a.m.
