BLUE HILL — A 72-year-old rural Blue Hill man was killed as the result of a rollover ATV accident north of the community during the morning of Thursday, July 31.
According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, at 11:40 a.m., deputies with the sheriff’s office, Blue Hill and Hastings fire departments responded to Ayr Ave., north of Blue Hill, for the report of a male involved in an ATV accident.
A 72-year-old male who was spraying weeds on the ATV was involved in a rollover and sustained life-threatening injuries.
First responders attempted life saving measures, but the man eventually succumbed to his injuries. His name is being withheld pending notification of the family.
