Concrete work began on 39th Street this morning at 7 a.m.
The City of Kearney Public Works Department will be doing concrete work for repairs on the outside lane on 39th Street west of Fairacres road.
Motorist and citizens can expect head-to-head traffic utilizing the east bound lanes.
The work section is expected to be reopened by Friday, October 6, weather depending.
