KEARNEY — A two vehicle accident took place east of Kearney on Highway 30 during the morning hours of Thursday, Oct. 23.
Around 7:50 p.m., the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to a two vehicle accident that occurred near the intersection of Highway 30 and Imperial Road.
Two vehicles on scene had suffered heavy front and damage would need to be towed away from the scene.
Traffic was backed up around the scene, with the Nebraska State Patrol arriving on scene to help direct the traffic around the accident area.
The accident is under investigation.
