MINDEN — Kearney County residents are being asked to take a survey regarding the next steps for preserving the dome of the courthouse in Minden.
Jennifer Pittner, Kearney County Assessor, is inviting residents to provided feedback for the county board to determine the next steps to preserve the courthouse dome, impacting the 100-year tradition of Minden being known as the “Christmas City.”
Residents, complete the survey by Nov. 15 at: TinyUrl.com/SaveChristmasCity. There, residents will first be able to review the preservation needs assessment.
There are several ways to participate:
1. Log into your existing account
2. Create a new account
3. Select “Poll Pass” (does not require full account creation)
4. Complete paper survey (available at the Kearney County Courthouse, Jensen Memorial Library, and city/village offices)
