FREMONT — One day after announcing an exploratory committee for Governor of Nebraska, Lynne Walz announced that she raised over $150,000 and received donations in 86 of the state’s 93 counties.
Those contributions came from across the political spectrum, from teachers and ranchers, to construction workers and doctors.
“The outpouring of support has been incredible,” Walz said. “Yesterday, I heard from so many people about their hopes, fears, and ideas for how to move Nebraska forward. I look forward to continuing these discussions with people all across the state.”
Walz plans to make a decision on whether to officially run after the New Year.
