GRAND ISLAND — A convicted felon was found to be in possession of a firearm and methamphetamine after a disturbance call in Grand Island on Monday, Dec. 1.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, officers responded at 6:05 a.m. to a reported disturbance in the 800 block of E. 15th St.
During the investigation, officers determined that Zachary Eberhardt, a convicted felon, was in possession of a pistol, methamphetamine, used syringes and deleted video evidence.
Eberhardt was referred to the Hall County Attorney for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, tampering with physical evidence, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
As of 3:30 p.m., on Dec. 2, no charges had been filed against Eberhardt in Hall County Court.
