GRAND ISLAND – Prairie Pride Brewing Co. at 115 E. South Front St. is closing at the end of the year, according to a social media post.
‘This decision has not come easily, and it certainly isn’t what we ever imagined for our story – but due to ongoing health issues, it is a choice we have to make,” the announcement said.
“For years, this has been so much more than a bar; it’s been a home. A meeting place. A celebration spot. You’ve shared your milestones with us – birthdays, anniversaries, late-night laughs, and friendships that turned into family. Every one of those memories will stay with us forever,” the announcement said.
“Thank you for being the heart of this bar. Thank you for understanding. Thank you for loving us so well,” the announcement said.
“Please pay close attention to our upcoming event this month, as we hope to end this chapter with memories we can all cherish,” the announcement said.
The business celebrated its nine-year anniversary with an event Nov. 8.
