KEARNEY – The B-9 Sub District softball final came between McCook and Kearney Catholic/Amherst for the chance to earn a ticket to a District Final this weekend.
McCook handled HWY 6 in their first round contest at Patriot Park, while the Starcos finished off Lexington.
The Starcos could not contain the McCook bats, however, falling in the championship game 13-1.
Kearney Catholic/Amherst ends the season at 14-11.
