Kearney High School has been selected to be featured in FloWrestling’s national video series, “You’ve Never Seen a High School Wrestling Dual Like This.” This series highlights the most unique and exciting high school wrestling duals across the country, and FloWrestling (the ESPN of wrestling) has chosen to showcase our Kearney High Stage Dual.
This event is unlike anything else, a wrestling dual held on a fully lit and produced stage inside Kearney High’s beautiful Concert Hall & Theater. It blends the intensity of wrestling with the energy of a live production, creating one of the most recognizable traditions in Nebraska High School wrestling.
This feature provides a rare opportunity for Kearney High School to be showcased on a national platform. It highlights the support and pride that our community brings to our student-athletes, while shining a positive light on Kearney and the example our programs set statewide and beyond.
A true Nebraska rivalry will be on display as KHS will be wrestling Grand Island. Both the boys and girls teams for both schools are ranked in the Top 10 statewide. This creates not only a unique visual experience on the stage, but also one of the most competitive duals in the state.
