Nebraska’s lead would further push out to 20-9 after kills from Allick, Adriano, and Murraym and an ace from Lainey Choboy would end the second set.
The third set started quickly with two kills from Teraya Sigler, followed by Taylor Landfair and Andi Jackson kills to puck Nebraska’s early lead to 9-4. Nebraska would go on a blistering run leading 20-9 with kills from Murray, Jackson, and Manaia Ogbechie to push Nebraska’s lead out to that point, and the Huskers would close their dominant performance with a Landfair kill followed by a KU attack error.
