KEARNEY — Kearney Community Theatre is currently presenting The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley
“The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley is a heartwarming sequel to Pride and Prejudice, set during the holiday season at the grand estate of Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy. As the Darcys prepare for a festive Christmas, their peace is disrupted when the scandalous George Wickham, Lydia’s troublesome husband – unexpectedly arrives,” per the KCT website.
“Downstairs, the servants navigate their own dramas, while upstairs, Elizabeth and Lydia grapple with love, loyalty, and the consequences of past choices. Full of wit, charm, and holiday spirit, this story explores redemption, family bonds, and the power of forgiveness in a Regency-era Christmas setting,” the KCT website states.
