GRAND ISLAND – The Bosselman Family Foundation completed a holiday project of funding, assembling, and delivering 100 ready-to-cook holiday meal baskets to families across Central Nebraska through a partnership with Hope Harbor.

This effort marks the first public initiative of the newly-formed Bosselman Family Foundation, unifying the Bosselman family’s philanthropic efforts under one mission. The story highlights local impact, volunteerism, and a long-term commitment to supporting communities through scholarships, grants, disaster relief, and nonprofit partnerships.

Each basket includes a ready-to-cook turkey or ham along with a full assortment of traditional holiday sides, providing families everything needed to prepare a warm and complete holiday meal at home. Bosselman team members volunteered their time to assemble and deliver the baskets, demonstrating the company’s ongoing commitment to community service and support.

“This initiative represents the heart of why the Bosselman Family Foundation was created — to support and strengthen the communities we serve,” said Brandi Bosselman, President of the Bosselman Family Foundation. “Partnering with Hope Harbor allows us to deliver comfort, nourishment, and hope this holiday season.”

Founded in 2024, the Bosselman Family Foundation was developed to bring together all philanthropic efforts of the Bosselman family and the Bosselman Enterprises under one unified mission.

The Foundation is led by members of the Bosselman family, who work alongside company leadership and community partners to ensure charitable programs are delivered ethically, effectively, and with a meaningful impact.

The Foundation oversees several key programs, including:

The Chuck Bosselman Memorial Scholarship

Offering scholarships to Bosselman team members and their dependents who pursue traditional college degrees, skilled trades, certifications, and/or continuing education.

Team Member Grant

Providing confidential financial assistance to team members experiencing crises such as medical emergencies, loss of housing, domestic violence, or other emergency hardships.

Natural Disaster Grant

The Foundation’s Natural Disaster Grant is designed to support communities where Bosselman team members live and work when affected by natural disasters or widespread emergencies.

In-Kind Donations

Supplying gift cards and product donations to nonprofits, schools, and community groups across Nebraska and the region.
