HASTINGS — The Hastings Police Department released their daily activity from Tuesday, Jan. 6.
Reported Offenses:
- On January 5, 2026, an 83-year-old Hastings resident reported a hit and run in the 300 block of North Hastings Avenue.
- On January 6, 2026, a 60-year-old Hastings resident reported fraud in the 700 block of Glenwood Avenue.
- On January 6, 2026, a 20-year-old Hastings resident reported an out-of-control juvenile in the 200 block of North Marian Road.
- On January 6, 2026, a 50-year-old Hastings resident reported theft by deception in the 1200 block of East Park Street.
- On January 6, 2026, a 29-year-old Iowa resident reported a criminal impersonation in the 1500 block of North Hastings Avenue.
Arrests/Citations:
- On January 6, 2026, a 65-year-old Hastings resident was cited for leaving the scene of an accident with property damage that occurred on December 31, 2025, in the 800 block of West South Street.
- On January 6, 2026, a 17-year-old Hastings resident was cited for theft and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle that occurred on January 1, 2026, in the 100 block of North Cedar Avenue.
