Crossroads Mission Avenue, (Brian Neben, Central Nebraska Today)
LEXINGTON — As the Lexington community experiences upheaval and transition for many families, Crossroads Mission Avenue is ready to help.
In response to the growing need for food supplies, Crossroads is partnering with Food Bank for the Heartland [FBFH] to open a food pantry in its Mission Avenue Thrift Store, located at 114 W 5th Street .
The regular monthly food distribution in Lexington, sponsored by Crossroads and FBFH, will also take place on January 8th, at the Dawson County Fairgrounds at 3 pm, where food boxes will be provided to residents as they drive through the distribution route.
