The Central District Health Department is hosting an in-person EPA lead exposure presentation to educate the public on the dangers of lead and preventative measures.
The Environmental Protection Agency will be presenting the “Understanding Lead” class Wednesday Oct. 11. from 6-7:30 p.m. at the O’Conner Learning Center, 2208 N. Webb Road in Grand Island.
Attendees will learn about lead and lead exposure, its effects on children, and what they can do to reduce and prevent exposure.
