SINDEY — It is with heavy hearts that the Sidney Police Department and the Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Office report that the body of Kara L. Bancroft-Westman has been discovered at approximately 11 a.m. on Jan. 25, 2026.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to her family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
The Sidney Police Department and the Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Office are currently conducting a joint investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death. This remains an active investigation.
