GRAND ISLAND – Hall County Commissioner Scott Sorensen, 37, has filed for re-election to his District 3 position on the Board of Commissioners.
Sorensen filed on Feb. 13. He is unopposed.
Feb. 17 is the deadline for incumbents to file. As of noon Feb. 17, Hall County Commissioner Jane Richardson, representing District 5, has not filed for re-election. Lynn Gardient, 54, has filed for the position.
Grand Island City Council member Maggie Mendoza had not filed for re-election as of noon Feb. 17. She represents Ward 2. No one else has filed for the position.
