GRAND ISLAND – Grand Island police arrested a Grand Island woman at 8:19 p.m. March 2 after they observed her driving a vehicle while under the influence of cannabis with her child in the vehicle.
Krista Leimser was arrested for felony intentional child abuse with no injury, misdemeanor second-offense driving under the influence of drugs and misdemeanor transporting a child under age 16 while intoxicated.
Officers contacted Leimser regarding a related issue, and that’s when they observed her driving the vehicle.
