AURORA — Help support the Aurora Fire Department by attending their annual pancake feed breakfast on Sunday, Oct. 15.
The event will be hosted from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire station, 906 13th St., Aurora, NE 68818. Free will donations will be accepted.
Attendees are encouraged to view the firefighting equipment that is used to help the people of Aurora and the surrounding areas within Hamilton County. If one is interested in joining the department, applications will be available.
To join the department, one must be 18 years old and live within Aurora’s rural fire district, a map of the district can be viewed at the station.
“Thank you for your continuing support of the Aurora Volunteer Fire Department. We are here to serve you,” the department stated.
