GRAND ISLAND – The Grand Island Police Department reported multiple felony incidents March 16 that have occurred since March 13.
A 32-year-old female and 36-year-old male reported that they were robbed at 9:54 p.m. March 15 on West Third Street. The investigation is active for felony robbery, misdemeanor theft of mislaid property, and misdemeanor driving during revocation.
In another incident, a 46-year-old male reported a motor vehicle theft at 4:26 a.m. March 16. The vehicle was stolen from his residence on North Sycamore Street. The case is under investigation for felony theft by unlawful taking of more than $5,000 in value.
Other felony incidents reported include:
*A 50-year-old female reported an attempted burglary at 1:37 a.m. March 16 on Melody Lane. The case is under investigation for felony attempted burglary.
*A 68-year-old male reported at 12:33 p.m. March 13 that a trailer was stolen from a residence on Sylvan Street. The estimated value of the trailer is $1,700. The case is under investigation for felony theft of value $1,500 to $4,999.99.
*A Grand Island business on South Locust Street reported at 3:54 a.m. March 13 for a reported theft. The case is under investigation for felony theft by unlawful taking more than $5,000.
*A 30-year-old male on West Phoenix Avenue reported at 9:42 a.m. March 14 multiple terroristic threats offenses regarding an unknown person he has been communicating with online. The case is under investigation for misdemeanor theft by extortion, misdemeanor unlawful intrusion, and felony terroristic threats.
