KEARNEY — The Kearney High School Jazz Bands will host their annual Big Band Night on Saturday, May 9 at 7 p.m. at Kearney High School (West Entrance).
This year’s theme, “Swinging in Paris,” will feature live jazz music in a Parisian-inspired setting, including a special guest artist from Paris.
The evening will include an optional pre-event dance lesson at 5:45 PM hosted by Encore Performing Arts Studio ($10 per person or $15 per couple). General admission is $10. Guests will also enjoy interactive, Parisian-inspired experiences throughout the evening.
Proceeds from the event support the KHS Jazz Band program, helping fund instrument repair, music, travel, and student opportunities.
