AMHERST – The Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs pulled off the upset, taking down top-seed Amherst in the D1-9 Sub-District Final in a straight sweep.
SEM (28-4) won in three sets, 25-23, 25-18, and 25-20. Amherst drops to 23-9 on the season.
Both teams now await their district final matchups set for Saturday. District Final matchups will be announced on Wednesday morning.
