GRAND ISLAND – Grand Island police arrested Cristian Torres Jimenez, 24, at 7:14 a.m. Feb. 16 after he allegedly assaulted his 63-year-old father and 23-year-old brother with a belt and the attached buckle at a residence on West Koenig Street.
Grand Island Police Division Chief Dean Elliott said that Torres Jimenez struck the two men multiple times, causing injuries such as contusions.
Neither victim required medical attention, Elliott said.
Torres Jimenez was arrested for felony second-degree assault and misdemeanor using a weapon to commit a felony.
